 Sharon Bloodworth - CDFA™
          Partner and Vice President

"I bring an international flair to an extremely talented team."

Sharon’s enthusiasm for world-class client service makes her an essential addition to the White Oaks Wealth Advisors team. Sharon’s role in the firm is to manage client strategy and investments and to maintain the business facets of the company. Sharon’s 13 plus years of working with clients is evident in all she does in helping clients achieve their dreams and helping the firm grow.

"Discipline, process and hard work form the foundation of our team philosophy. Together, we can accomplish so much, to improve the lives of our clients."

Sharon’s many diverse talents allow her to contribute a great deal to the White Oaks Wealth Advisors team. Her experience in the financial services industry dates back to 1993, and includes positions at American Express Financial Advisors as a Financial Advisor, and the investment management firm Lord, Abbett & Co. in New York City, as Client Liaison, where she was responsible for maintaining relationships for $2 billion worth of assets.
Sharon joined White Oaks Wealth Advisors in February 2001, motivated by the challenges and opportunities of working for an independent advisory firm. Her knowledge of investment and trade operations, compliance, wealth management marketing, and information systems made her the perfect choice for this position.

"The financial impact of a divorce can be just as devastating as the emotional impact. I am here to help our clients understand and plan for their new financial future. Being a rare fee only firm gives us a tremendous advantage. You need strong conflict free advice when you are at your most vulnerable, not product solutions."

Sharon is from the United Kingdom, where she graduated from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science of Economics in European Community Studies with a concentration in political economics and languages. She also received the Certificate of International Business Practice from Oxford University through the Lord Mountbatten Program. Sharon has the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst TM designation.  She is passionate about helping educate clients on the financial and tax ramifications of divorce and to help clients transition for their future financial life.

She is fluent in several languages, having spent her childhood years in Africa, Indonesia, France, and Italy. She is an active member of Rotary Club Nine, the largest and oldest Rotary club in Minnesota, where she sits on the Board of Directors and is Treasurer for 2009-2011. Sharon is a member of the Minneapolis Club and sits on the Family Events Committee.  She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and Vistage.  In 2007 Sharon funded the rebuilding of a Kindergarten in Indonesia she named after her daughter – Sophia’s Sunshine School.
