Robert Klosterman, CFP® is Founder, CEO and Chief
Investment Officer of White Oaks Wealth Advisors, Inc. and
its predecessor R.J. Klosterman & Co, Inc. Bob has been a
Certified Financial Planner licensee since 1989. He has a
clear vision for the future and having worked in financial
planning since 1975, and feels a strong need to provide
people with expert and independent wealth advisory services.

Sharon’s enthusiasm for world-class client service makes
her an essential addition to the White Oaks Wealth Advisors
team. Sharon’s role in the firm is to manage client
strategy and investments and to maintain the business facets
of the company. Sharon’s 13 plus years of working with
clients is evident in all she does in helping clients
achieve their dreams and helping the firm grow.
Sharon joined White Oaks Wealth Advisors in February
2001, motivated by the challenges and opportunities of
working for an independent advisory firm. Her knowledge of
investment and trade operations, compliance, wealth
management marketing, and information systems made her the
perfect choice for this position.

Sharon’s experience in the financial services industry
dates back to 1993, and includes positions at American
Express Financial Advisors as a Financial Advisor, and the
investment management firm Lord, Abbett & Co. in New York
City, as Client Liaison, where she was responsible for
maintaining relationships for $2 billion worth of assets.
Sharon is from the United Kingdom, where she graduated
from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff with a
Bachelor’s Degree of Science of Economics in European
Community Studies with a concentration in political
economics and languages. She is fluent in several languages,
having spent her childhood years in Africa, Indonesia,
France, and Italy. Sharon received the Certificate of
International Business Practice from Oxford University
through the Lord Mountbatten.
Sharon has been listed as a 2011 Five Star Wealth Manager
in Twin Cities Business, Mpls St Paul Magazine. She was
also a “Forty under 40” recipient 2010 from the Minneapolis
St. Paul Business Journal. The list highlights forty
business/community leaders under forty years old. Sharon’s

site and she has been quoted and profiled on The Glass
Hammer, a website for executive women, and CBS Market Watch.
Sharon is President of one of the largest, and the oldest
Rotary Club in Minnesota in 2012-2013. She was Assistant
Treasurer of the Rotary Club from 2007-2009 and Treasurer
from 2009-2011 and she also sits on the Board of Directors
for the Minneapolis Rotary Foundation and is a member of the
investment committee. Sharon was appointed to the Minnesota
Academic Excellence Foundation in 2010 by Governor Tim
Pawlenty and serves as the Treasurer. In 2007 Sharon funded
the rebuilding of a Kindergarten in Indonesia she named
after her daughter –Sophia’s Sunshine School.

Micki
Larson
Communications
“Communication is an integral part of a successful
business and client relationships.”
Micki joined the White Oaks Wealth Advisors team at the
end of July 2008. She manages the strategic direction and
execution of all internal and external communications. This
includes art directing and message development for various
publications, sponsorships and media relations. Micki is
also responsible for website development, Search Engine
Optimization (SEO) and helps develop and maintain the Client
Relationship Management (CRM) systems, as well as, event
planning and coordination.

passionate about continuing to improve our communication
methods in efforts to achieve a genuine and valuable
connection with our clients."
Micki graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
English. She has over 10 years of experience in the
creative/marketing field with skills in communication,
project management and event coordination, as well as a
solid history in administrative service. Her work reflects
strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to
coordinate the efforts of many to meet strategic and
organizational goals.
An important aspect of Micki’s life is her family, which
includes her husband, two sons and one highly active dog.
She enjoys going for walks and spending as much time as
possible outdoors. Micki loves music, reading poetry,
traveling abroad and when she can manage to find the time,
create pastel chalk drawings.
Cyndi Castle
Vice President Family Office Services

Cyndi joined the Intrinzia Family Office team in 2006 as
Director of Client Services and was promoted to Vice
President of Family Office Services. She manages the family
office client service relationships and communications and
specializes in providing investment oversight services.

Cyndi graduated from St Cloud State University in 1986
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work. She has
over 25 years of experience working in institutional
operations, investments and client servicing at Piper
Jaffray and at U.S. Bancorp Asset Management. Cyndi’s work
included direct client communication, portfolio analysis and
relationship management for over 300 institutional and high
net worth clients.
Cyndi enjoys volunteering at her children’s school
activities and cheering them on at their cross-country
ski meets and softball games. She is a north Minnesota girl
at heart and spends free weekends in Walker, MN to visit
family and friends. Cyndi is an avid reader and loves live
music.
Adrienne McKee
Investment Administrator

Adrienne joined the Intrinzia Family Office team in
October 2007. She provides support for client investment
and accounting, generates client investment reports and
provides related administrative support.
Adrienne has over 20 years of bookkeeping and accounting
experience. She started her career in New Zealand where she
grew up, then moved to London, England where she worked for
many years in both accounting and the hospitality industry.
In 2002 she moved back to the USA, in South Carolina before
finally settling here in Minneapolis.
Adrienne enjoys Yoga, travel, both domestic and
international, and family time with her husband and two
young children.
Meryl Roberts
Financial Administrator

have to have your heart in your work, and your work in your
heart.’’
Meryl joined the Intrinzia Family Office team in October
of 2007. She assists in client and small business
bookkeeping, executes accounts payable and receivables for
small businesses, generates client financial reports and
provides related administrative support.
Meryl graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce degree in
Financial Accounting. She has more than 15 years of
experience in administrative bookkeeping and customer
service at several international companies
She loves spending her time with family, which includes
her husband and daughter. She enjoys traveling abroad,
sewing, making bridal flowers and creating paper crafts.
Greg Thielsen
Controller

Greg joined White Oaks Wealth Advisors in April 2011 and
is responsible for the accounting, bookkeeping and tax work
for our Intrinzia Family Office clients.

working simultaneously with multiple business entities,
across diverse industries, has given me the expertise needed
to handle the complexity of our most entrepreneurial
clients.”
Greg is a seasoned accounting and consultant professional
who brings over 30 years of experience to White Oaks, and
has worked in a variety of business segments, including
manufacturing, professional services, wholesale
distribution, and retail. Greg’s roles have included Vice
President of Operations for CFC Technology Corp and CFO/Contoller
for Hedtke, Inc/Filtration Products Corp/Specialty Fittings,
Inc.
Education and community service are a passion for
Greg. He has been an elected School Board member of the
Brooklyn Center School District since 1991 and was
recognized In January 2011 by the Minnesota School Boards
Association for twenty years of service. During his tenure,
he has served as Treasurer, Vice Chair and Chairperson of
the Board. Greg is also a Board member of Intermediate
District #287, a consortium of thirteen west suburban school
districts providing services to special student populations,
and has been Treasurer for the last 2 years.
When not working or attending board meetings, Greg enjoys
reading, sports and spending time with his family. He is an
avid Twins and Viking fan, despite having grown up in
Wisconsin.
Preston Koenig
Portfolio Administrator

Preston joined the White Oaks Wealth Advisors team at the
end of May 2011. His role involves managing the day-to-day
client relations, account set up, trading and portfolio
management, common fund administration, cash allocation and
disbursement.
Preston graduated from the University of North Dakota –
Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Aeronautics. He spent seven years in the
aviation industry serving first as an Airline Pilot based in
Portland, OR and then as Director of Aviation for a
collegiate program in Bloomington, MN. Deciding to make a
career change and pursue his interest in finance, he
completed his MBA at Metropolitan State University. For the
past five years, Preston served as a Trust Administrator
with Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement and Trust. In
this role, Preston acted as administrator and contact for
institutional plan sponsors, brokers, and investment
managers while also being involved in sales support and
product training.
Preston grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and currently
lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Jessica. In his free
time he enjoys playing a variety of sports including
basketball and tennis. He enjoys traveling abroad, spending
time with family, and attending various sporting events and
concerts.
