Nick Chimerakis joined White Oaks Wealth Advisors in July 2012. He provides comprehensive wealth, tax, and estate planning to the firm’s clients and oversees the family office accounting functions.
Nick graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 and played three years of varsity tennis for the Fighting Irish. Prior to joining White Oaks Wealth Advisors, Nick spent over six years at Deloitte Tax LLP in Minneapolis, where he provided tax compliance and planning services to a diverse client base, including closely held business owners, corporate executives, and affluent families. As a member of Deloitte’s Private Company Services practice, Nick focused on individual and trust taxation as well as wealth transfer planning. Nick obtained his CPA certification in 2006, his CFP® certification in 2013, and also holds a Master of Business Taxation from the Carlson School of Management. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, and the Financial Planning Association. Nick serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Directors for Bolder Options, a Twin Cities based non-profit that provides mentoring services for at-risk youth.
Nick grew up in North Palm Beach, FL and currently lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Jessica, and daughter, Cora. When he is not working with clients, Nick enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors.
