Update after Hurricane Irma:

White Oaks Wealth Advisors and White Oaks Investment Management are operating as normal. Bob and Alex evacuated to Atlanta, Georgia last week where they will stay until the all clear is given for safe access back to the keys in Florida.

The Longboat Key office is on the second floor of a concrete building, so expected physical office space interruption should be minimal based on reports coming out this morning. The funds’ NAV approval process was completed on time as normal and distributions are processed via our Minneapolis office.

Last Thursday, our disaster recovery procedures were deployed in preparation for the storm. Taking lessons from 9/11, our firm has been very intentional in the design of core infrastructures and location of information and resources to handle emergency situations. We were also able to contact the vast majority of our Florida clients during the crisis and offer our help.

Our thoughts are with our Florida clients as they start the clean up process.
